Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Assembly / Inventory Management

  • Enter and retrieve data from the Stronghold eCommerce website and inventory system

  • Complete product builds from written Bills of Materials

  • Create or modify Bills of Materials for new or existing products as needed

  • Maintain inventory control procedures complete physical inventory counts

  • Conduct random inventory checks to assure inventory accuracy

  • Assist in maintaining system data integrity and security

  • Ensure that orderliness and cleanliness are maintained throughout the warehouse facility

  • Operate in a safe manner according to all published safety guidelines

  • Secure and maintain company property according to company policy

Packaging / Shipping / Receiving / Quality Control

  • Perform packaging, shipping and receiving activities in a timely and accurate manner

  • Prepare shipping and customs paperwork

  • Record order fulfillment and shipment tracking information

  • Perform and document incoming and outgoing product and order quality inspections

  • Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts

  • Communicate order and shipment tracking information to customers via telephone or email

  • Maintain and improve quality standards and recommend improved policies and procedures

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of order fulfillment, product assembly, manufacturing processes and inventory systems

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and other computer software applications

  • Problem solve using a methodical approach to determining the answer or finding a solution

  • Ability to prioritize and work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and mathematical skills

  • Ability to use basic hand tools

  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hand and arms and talk and hear

  • Lift and/or move objects weighing 10 - 50 pounds

  • Use a hand truck or pallet jack to move heavy or bulky objects

  • Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, pull, climb steps, balance, crouch or crawl

  • Exercise close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus

  • Dependable and reliable dedication to delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 1-2 years warehouse and/or order fulfillment experience preferred

  • Computer data entry skills using Microsoft Office or other computer applications
